ABOUT MARC
Marc J. Mandich joined Southern Med Law in the Fall of 2019, bringing more than a decade of experience representing individuals in complex, high-stakes litigation. A native of New Orleans, Marc attended Jesuit High School (summa cum laude) before earning his undergraduate degree in finance from Louisiana State University. He went on to graduate magna cum laude from Loyola University New Orleans College of Law, where he distinguished himself as a brief writer for Loyola’s Admiralty and National Moot Court Teams, was published in the Journal of Public Interest Law, and was recognized as both a Crowe Scholar and a member of the Order of the Barristers.
Marc’s practice focuses on medical negligence, products liability, mass torts, civil rights litigation, maritime law, defamation and reputational torts, insurance litigation, and appellate advocacy. He has argued cases before the United States Fourth, Fifth, and Ninth Circuit Courts of Appeal and is recognized as a skilled appellate advocate.
He currently serves on the plaintiffs’ leadership in the national Social Media Adolescent Addiction Litigation, representing thousands of children and young adults harmed by the design and operation of social media platforms, including Meta, TikTok, Snap, and YouTube. In addition to his leadership role in national litigation, Marc represents clients throughout Alabama and across the country in matters involving medical negligence and defective medical products.
