Marc J. Mandich

Marc J. Mandich joined Southern Med Law in the fall of 2019. A native of New Orleans, Louisiana, Marc attended Jesuit High School, graduating summa cum laude in 2006, before earning his bachelor’s degree in finance from Louisiana State University in 2010. He went on to receive his Juris Doctor from Loyola University New Orleans College of Law, graduating magna cum laude in 2013.
During law school, Marc distinguished himself as a brief writer for Loyola’s Admiralty and National Moot Court Teams, was published in the Loyola Journal of Public Interest Law, and earned recognition as both a Crowe Scholar and a member of the Order of the Barristers. He is licensed to practice law in Louisiana and Alabama and has more than twelve years of legal experience.
Marc’s practice spans medical negligence, products liability, mass torts, civil rights litigation, maritime law, defamation and reputational torts, insurance litigation, and appeals. An accomplished appellate advocate, he has argued cases before the United States Fourth, Fifth, and Ninth Circuit Courts of Appeal. Marc currently serves on plaintiffs’ leadership in the highly publicized Social Media Adolescent Addiction Litigation against Meta, TikTok, Snap (Snapchat), and YouTube, representing thousands of children and young adults nationwide harmed by addictive and exploitative social media products. He also regularly represents individuals across Alabama and the country who have been injured by medical negligence or defective medical devices.
Above all, Marc considers his most important role to be that of a father. He and his wife, Gianna, are raising two young children, a son and a daughter.
