Odeh J. Issis, Attorney at Southern Institute for Legal and Medical Affairs
Odeh J. Issis is a trial lawyer in the firm’s general litigation group. His practice mainly focuses on complex matters involving medical malpractice, medical devices and personal injury. Odeh is also experienced in handling mass tort and multidistrict litigations. In connection with his mass tort experience, Odeh has represented clients from all over the United States.
Nationwide Multi District Litigations:
- IVC Filter Lawsuits Nationwide: Currently representing the family of a women in an IVC and Medical Malpractice Lawsuit that resulted in her death.
- Essure Lawsuits Nationwide: Representing numerous women who have suffered complications related to the Essure Permanent Birth Control Device.
- Power Morcellator Lawsuits Nationwide: Part of the team representing women in power morcellation lawsuits across the county alleging an upstaging of a previously undiagnosed cancer.
In addition to representing clients on the basis of medical negligence, medical device, and personal injury litigation, Odeh also represents clients in pursuit of claims on other non-medical matters, ranging from products liability involving power tools to alternative dispute resolution involving international businesses.
Actively litigating numerous cases involving Alabama residents who were injured due the negligence of others.

Odeh graduated cum laude from the Thomas Goode Jones School of Law, where he also counseled elderly individuals through the school’s Elder Law Clinic. Before attending law school, Odeh earned a B.S. at the University of Alabama, Culverhouse College of Commerce.
