J. Michael Carra, Attorney at Southern Institute for Legal and Medical Affairs
Michael Carra is an associate attorney in the firm’s medical device group. His practice focuses on personal injury and negligence associated with defectively designed, manufactured, or mislabeled medical devices, and the wide range of harmful effects these products have on his clients. Michael is also experienced in medical record and surgical procedure review through his tenure in the medical device industry as a sales professional with a global technology company. While most of his professional career has been focused on orthopedics, Michael has broadened his practice to the acquisition of any medical device, drug, or hospital-related case. He, his wife, Shelley, and their son Jude live in Birmingham.
